Tim Lincecum Loses Control Of Bodily Functions, Falls Down On Mound (Video)

Tim Lincecum took the weirdness of his funky delivery to new heights Thursday night.

The San Francisco Giants pitcher lasted just 4 2/3 innings against the Cincinnati Reds, surrendering three runs on five hits while walking five. He hadn’t allowed a run entering the fourth inning, though, until he did this.

We do not recommend pitching like that.

Lincecum’s unfortunate yet totally hilarious mishap wasn’t the first issue he had at Great American Ballpark, as he struggled with his footing the entire night.

Given his complete lack of balance on the mound, it’s actually pretty incredible that Lincecum didn’t balk once and managed to deliver the ball out of harm’s way despite the his lower body’s devious attempts to sabotage him.

After Thursday’s rough outing, the two-time Cy Young Award winner now is 0-4 with a 9.26 ERA in his career against Cincinnati. The Reds are the only National League team he hasn’t beaten, and it looks like that won’t change until he gets himself some new cleats.
