Zach LaVine Throws Down Alley-Oop Dunks With Footballs, Isn’t Human (Video)

A memo to Zach LaVine: Please save some athleticism for the rest of us.

The Minnesota Timberwolves rookie had no intentions of doing so in February when he put on a dazzling display to win the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Judging by his latest video, he still doesn’t.

After a recent training session, LaVine got his workout partner to toss him a few footballs. But the 20-year-old did a little more than just catch them.

We’re pretty sure the rules of gravity don’t apply to this guy.

LaVine’s ability to float through the air is impressive, but so too is the ease with which he snags the footballs — even with one hand at times. As it turns out, the Seattle native has some football blood in him, as his father, Paul, played in both the USFL and NFL during the 1980s.

So yeah, it looks like he’s keeping all the athleticism to himself.
