Yes, we’re talking about the Boston Celtics guard, who as far as we know has no experience on the gridiron. But that didn’t stop Turner from taking to Instagram and making his pitch to fill in for Brady while the quarterback serves his Deflategate suspension.

The field isn’t exactly regulation-size, but that was a pretty solid throw from Turner.

Of course, Patriots fans probably are hoping Turner’s “tryout” is for naught, as Brady is seeking to have his suspension reduced or removed altogether after making his appeal to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Besides, if Turner really wants a shot at the Patriots job, he’s gotta lose that Yankees hat.
