Ian Poulter, Billy Horschel Rip U.S. Open Greens At Chambers Bay (Photo)

It sure sounds like PGA Tour golfers at the U.S. Open this weekend were no fans of the putting surfaces. Some were more vocal than others.

The two players leading loudest charge were Ian Poulter and Billy Horschel. Both players finished way off the winning mark set by Jordan Spieth, and we’re going to go out on a limb and assume they think the putting greens were one of the biggest reasons why.

During his round, Horschel freaked out a couple of times after missing seemingly easy putts. To say he let his emotions get the best of him might be an understatement.

In an interview with Holly Sonders after the round, Horschel ripped the USGA and the greens all weekend at Chambers Bay.

Perhaps Horschel and Poulter could have got together and shared some drinks while commiserating over the greens. Poulter used Instagram to blast the USGA and the weekend’s “disgraceful” greens.
