There are great catches, and then there are insane catches.
Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo’s catch in the top of the sixth inning of Wednesday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers is one of those insane catches.
Ryan Braun hit what looked like a harmless foul ball that would make its way into the stands, but Rizzo never gave up on the play. He jumped up on the tarp and caught the ball as it went into the seats.

Initially, the umpires weren’t going to call it a catch, but they held a conference and called Braun out.
That’s good news for us because we get to watch this glorious catch on loop now.
