‘Madden NFL 16’ Glitch Produces Hilarious ‘Ghost Interception’ (GIF)

EA Sports finally released its “Madden NFL 16” video game Tuesday, and that only can mean three things: debates over player ratings, absurd season simulations and hilarious glitches.

Those first two items are entertaining, sure, but it’s hard to find something more amusing than an old-fashioned “Madden” glitch. (Remember the Tiny Titan?) Fortunately, two intrepid gamers already discovered the game’s first glitch during a recent match, and it’s fantastic.

Behold, the “ghost interception.”

That cornerback came out of nowhere.

This GIF is hilarious on all levels, unless, of course, you’re a New York Jets fan and don’t feel like watching Ryan Fitzpatrick throw interceptions to invisible Detroit Lions defenders.

On the bright side, though, at least Fitzpatrick doesn’t have Aaron Rodgers’ eyes (or lack thereof).
