Ron Wolf Tells Roger Goodell ‘Way To Go On That Brady Thing’ (Video)

At this point, all Roger Goodell can do is laugh.

The NFL commissioner has taken heat from all sides for his missteps in handling the punishment of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who currently is appealing his four-game suspension in federal court.

Goodell might have thought he was safe at Thursday’s Pro Football Hall of Fame gold jacket presentation event. But when former Green Bay Packers general manager Ron Wolf approached the stage, he couldn’t help but slip in a little message for the commissioner.

Nice, Ron.

Of course, we don’t know whether Wolf actually thinks Goodell is doing a good job handling Brady’s case, or whether he’s being completely sarcastic. Apparently Goodell didn’t know either, responding with a brief bout of half-nervous, half-crazed laughter.

After this week’s developments, it seems laughter is the best medicine for the commish. The same can’t be said for Brady and the Patriots, who likely won’t lighten up unless the quarterback’s suspension is reduced or vacated.
