Six Potential ‘Big And Powerful’ Celtics Targets Amid Trade Speculation (Photos)
The Boston Celtics’ president of basketball operations reportedly is looking to make a “big and powerful” trade, according to the Boston Herald’s Steve Bulpett. Ainge also reportedly wants to maintain flexibility in the deal and could look to a third team to help complete a trade.
Other than that snippet, we know absolutely nothing — no names, no teams, no hints.
With all of that in mind, let’s look at some potential trade targets for Boston that could fall into most, if not all, of those aforementioned categories.
This doesn’t mean a trade is imminent, or that any of the following players are targets. We just think a trade for any of them could be rationalized in Ainge’s eyes and potentially help the team achieve its ultimate goal of bringing home Banner No. 18.
