Nice try, NFL Network.
By all accounts, Sunday’s big AFC East matchup between the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills was going to be a good one. The Bills got an upset win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1, and they were energized — along with their fans — to upset the defending Super Bowl champions.
But the Patriots were coming off an impressive win in Week 1, too, and they are the defending champs, after all. So at least one panelist on NFL Network’s pregame show would pick New England to win, right?
Wrong.
