Ronda Rousey is stepping out of the octagon and onto the silver screen. Again.
The UFC superstar is set to star in a reboot of the 1989 cult classic, “Road House,” Variety reported Wednesday, citing sources.
The undefeated UFC bantamweight champion tweeted Wednesday about her involvement in the movie, in which she’ll reprise Patrick Swayze’s famous role.

The original “Road House” starred Swayze as a bar bouncer forced to protect a small Missouri town against a crooked businessman. Swayze’s widow, Lisa Niemi, “gladly gave” Rousey her blessing to play the part, according to Variety’s sources.
Rousey recently has appeared in “Furious 7,” “The Expendables 3” and the “Entourage” movie. Production on “Road House” reportedly will start next year, after Rousey defends her belt at UFC 193 on Nov. 14.
