Seahawks’ Tyler Lockett Takes First NFL Punt Return For 57-Yard TD (Video)

Tyler Lockett is pretty good at this whole returning kicks thing.

The Seattle Seahawks rookie turned heads in the preseason when he took a kickoff 103 yards to paydirt against the Denver Broncos, so the bar was set pretty high in the team’s regular-season opener against the St. Louis Rams.

Here’s how he responded to that challenge:

Yep, that’s right. Lockett scored a 57-yard touchdown Sunday on his first-ever regular season punt return.

The third-round draft pick out of Kansas State also made a bit of team history, as the Seahawks hadn’t had a player take a punt to the house since Nate Burleson (remember him?) did it back in 2007.
