There are tough ways to lose, and then there is what happened to No. 7 Michigan State against Nebraska on Saturday.
The Spartans held what seemed like a comfortable lead late in the fourth quarter, but the Cornhuskers scored a pair of touchdowns in the final two minutes to upset Michigan State 39-38.
However, the second of those touchdowns is one that will be debated for a while. Nebraska wide receiver Brandon Reilly went out of bounds before catching the 30-yard score. The referees ruled that he was pushed out, though, which allowed the touchdown to stand. The play was upheld by review.
