The San Diego Padres didn’t make the playoffs this season, meaning they could get an early start on their golf games this fall.
Looks like they won’t have to travel too far now.
The Padres have teamed up with Callaway Golf for a rather ambitious project: transforming Petco Park into a 9-hole golf course. That project was rolled out Thursday in the form of the Links at Petco Park, in which golfers hit drives off tees located around the park onto greens that were created right on the outfield grass.

We’re not gonna lie: This is pretty cool.
The 1,002-yard course features nine par-3 holes, which lucky golfers can play for $50 per round. The first hole starts right from home plate, while a few other holes begin in the stands:
