Peyton Manning Becomes NFL’s All-Time Leader In Passing Yards (Video)

Move over, Brett Favre. Peyton Manning is the NFL’s all-time leading passer.

The Denver Broncos quarterback entered Sunday’s game versus the Kansas City Chiefs with 71,836 career passing yards, needing just 3 yards to break Favre’s record for the most by any player in NFL history.

After throwing an interception on his first pass attempt of the game and then fumbling on his second drive, Manning completed a first-quarter pass to Ronnie Hillman for 4 yards to break the record. The game was stopped and Manning received a standing ovation.

A win would give Manning the 187th regular-season victory of his career, breaking another tie with Favre atop the all-time ranks.
