In addition to quoting “My Cousin Vinny,” Bill Belichick now can exit a room like George Costanza from “Seinfield.”
The New England Patriots head coach has been answering question about his team’s injuries for weeks, and Wednesday was no different after LeGarrette Blount reportedly suffered a season-ending hip injury during New England’s win Sunday over the Houston Texans.
Just before Belichick reached the podium for his press conference, though, ESPN’s Ed Werder reported the Patriots will meet with free-agent running back Steven Jackson, who could give the team some much needed depth at the position.
Belichick was asked about the reported meeting, and instead of answering, he walked off the stage saying, “Let’s just end on a high note.”
