Jurgen Klopp fielded a host of young Reds against Exeter City, but an experienced player, Adam Bogdan, made the Liverpool manager’s day more stressful than it otherwise might have been.
Bogdan allowed Exeter City’s Lee Holmes to score directly from a corner kick Thursday in the third round of the FA Cup. Bogdan flapped at Holmes’ driven delivery, allowing Exeter City to take a 2-1 lead on the stroke of halftime.

Liverpool is in the midst of an injury crisis, and the 28-year-old Bogdan is one of just three senior players who started against Exeter City — a club that plays in League Two (English fourth division).
Bogdan normally backs up Simon Mignolet, but Klopp decided to start the Hungarian for just the fifth time this season and first since Dec. 20.
The result was disastrous, but Brad Smith dragged Liverpool back on level terms with a goal in the second half.
