If only all of our friends could be as famous and funny as Kobe Bryant’s.
The list of gifts the Los Angeles Lakers legend is receiving ahead of his retirement from the NBA is rapidly growing, thanks to his All-Star friends. TMZ revealed Thursday that Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony showered Bryant with gag gifts last weekend at a Toronto restaurant during NBA All-Star Weekend.

Paul, Wade and Anthony made speeches and presented Bryant with parting gifts, which include, according to TMZ:
— compression socks
— denture adhesive cream
— Mamba fruit chews
— Preparation H
— reading glasses
— a television remote
Bryant, 37, can add these thoughtful trinkets to the Netflix subscription Wade bought him and the full set of “Air Jordans” Michael Jordan sent his way last week.
Others will continue to shower Bryant with gifts as his NBA career winds down. Time will tell if they’re as practical as those from Wade, Paul and Anthony.
