Wade Phillips Trolls Cam Newton With ‘Dabbing’ Tweet After Super Bowl Win

A year ago, Wade Phillips was out of football. Now, he’s a Super Bowl champion who’s trolling the NFL’s Most Valuable Player.

Phillips might have been the Denver Broncos’ biggest offseason acquisition, as the defensive coordinator orchestrated one of the greatest defensive runs in NFL history that culminated Sunday with a Super Bowl 50 win over the Carolina Panthers.

The former NFL head coach is also a great Twitter user, which he reminded everyone about Monday morning, just hours after hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

He did so with a not-so-subtle trolling of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, who was shut down and shut up by Phillips’ Denver defense.

Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller took home the game’s MVP honors and also did some trolling at the Panthers’ expense on Instagram after the game.
