James Franklin Tweets, Deletes Slogan ‘No Talent Required’ At Penn State (Photo)

James Franklin had a rough Thursday on the ole Twitter machine.

The Penn State Nittany Lions football coach hasn’t had the best of starts in Happy Valley, posting 7-6 records in each of his first two seasons at the helm. Perhaps the third time will be the charm, but he might want to come up with a better slogan first.

Franklin’s interesting Thursday started when he tweeted out a picture of a Penn State player with the motivational slogan, “No Talent Required.” However, as ESPN’s Josh Moyer pointed out, that slogan doesn’t really seem motivational at all.

The tweet eventually was deleted from Franklin’s account, and he apparently blocked Moyer in the process. Thankfully for us, Moyer still had the photo and tweeted it out for everyone to see.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

And it was a block-fest in Happy Valley, as Moyer wasn’t the only journalist who was felt the coaching staff’s wrath.

Well, that’s certainly one way to make a bad situation even worse.
