“Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow” for Xbox was an entertaining video game, but it wasn’t so good that Julian Edelman should have held onto it for a dozen years and counting.

Edelman shared a photo Monday of the Rain Six game he rented from Blockbuster Video in 2004 … and failed to return. The New England Patriots receiver discovered the overdue video game at “home,” presumably in Northern California.

Edelman now is 29. He was around 17 when he rented “Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow.” Apparently his hands were good enough at the time for him to hold onto the product for a decade-plus.

Edelman hasn’t announced whether he’ll return the game to Blockbuster. He probably shouldn’t bother trying, since the former entertainment behemoth now has just a few retail locations remaining in the United States.
