Prince Gives Steph Curry Shout Out During Show At Warriors’ Arena (Video)

Prince knows when he sees greatness.

Like the rest of us, the legendary musician is in awe of the historic season Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is having.

Prince played at Oracle Arena, the home of the Warriors, on Friday night. During the show, he gave Curry a shout out, telling the crowd, “Take your place in history — I know Steph Curry is.”

Curry is averaging 30.7 points, 6.6 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game this season. He’s also shooting 46.5 percent from 3-point land and 90.6 percent from the free throw line.

Those are insane numbers.

Curry is well on his way to back-to-back NBA MVP awards, and it would shock no one if his Warriors repeated as champions. That said, his coolest accomplishment in 2016 might be his praise from Prince. Not everyone receives that.
