Craig Kimbrel is one of the best closers in Major League Baseball, and apparently, he’s also one of the best teammates.
The reliever made his Red Sox debut Tuesday, walking one and striking out two to preserve Boston’s 6-2 win over the Cleveland Indians, but that’s not the only reason his teammates were thanking him. Kimbrel also bought the Red Sox personalized Movado watches, which Noe Ramirez posted on Twitter.
Thank you @kimbrel46 making the opening day roster with the @RedSox just got a lot sweeter. #whatadude pic.twitter.com/Cw0lZZjxIQ

It’s unclear if he bought them for Boston’s relievers, the pitchers, or the whole team, as Ramirez, a reliever, was the only one who posted it, and so far Joe Kelly, a starter, is the only one who’s retweeted it. But regardless of who received the personalized timepieces, it’s still an extremely nice gesture.
