Cold temperatures and the potential for rain or snow in northeast Ohio were enough to postpone Monday’s season opener between the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians. They weren’t, however, enough to cause Terry Francona to alter his travel plans.

Francona’s current and former teams now are scheduled to open their respective seasons Tuesday, with first pitch in Cleveland set for 1:10 p.m. ET.
