Sam Bradford Rumors: QB Likely To Ask Eagles For Trade After Browns Deal

The world as Sam Bradford knew it is changing. And the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback reportedly isn’t happy.

A source told Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole that Bradford likely is going to request a trade or ask for some way to get out of Philadelphia so that he can move on with his career elsewhere.

The Eagles signed quarterback Chase Daniel to a three-year, $21 million contract earlier this offseason and acquired the No. 2 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft in a blockbuster trade with the Cleveland Browns earlier this week. The presumption is that Philadelphia will draft a quarterback with the second overall selection, leaving Bradford’s long-term future in question.

Cole’s report of a potential trade request comes on the heels of ESPN’s Adam Schefter reporting Wednesday that Bradford is “hot” about the Eagles trading up with the Browns.

Bradford, the No. 1 overall pick in 2010, was traded from the St. Louis Rams to the Eagles before last season. The 28-year-old started 14 games in his first season with Philadelphia, guiding the Eagles to a 7-7 record while throwing for 3,725 yards and 19 touchdowns to 14 interceptions.

Bradford signed a two-year, $36 million contract with Philadelphia earlier this offseason.
