Just catching one foul ball is an accomplishment not many baseball fans get to experience. But five in one game is unheard of — at least until Monday.
The Detroit Tigers lost 7-4 to the Pittsburgh Pirates at Comerica Field on Monday, but the biggest story actually happened in the stands. One lucky fan caught not one, not two, but five (!) foul balls during the game. And as if that wasn’t awesome enough, the fan gave each foul ball to a kid in the stands.
