It’s now or never if the Golden State Warriors want to make history.
If you haven’t heard, the NBA’s defending champions sport a 69-9 record with four games remaining and will need to win out if they hope to break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ NBA-record 72-win season. Standing in their way, however, is the one team that unequivocally could stop them: the San Antonio Spurs, who have a shiny 65-12 record of their own.
Regardless of the final score, tonight’s game will make history, as it’s the first time two NBA teams with 65 or more wins will ever face off in the regular season, per Elias Sports Bureau.
