Hanley Ramirez, Jackie Bradley Jr. In Red Sox’s Lineup Vs. White Sox

The Boston Red Sox will send out a full squad for their series finale against the Chicago White Sox.

First baseman Hanley Ramirez is back in the lineup batting fifth Thursday after he was a late scratch from Wednesday’s game due to illness. Center fielder Jackie Bradley Jr. also will get the start despite injuring his right ring finger in Wednesday’s 5-2 win.

The team determined Bradley was good to go about an hour before first pitch after he completed a late batting practice session.

Brock Holt also will return to the lineup, batting seventh and playing left field in place of Chris Young. Ryan Hanigan will bat eighth and catch left-hander Henry Owens, who has earned no-decisions in both of his starts this season.

Right-hander Erik Johnson will make his season debut for the White Sox. He’s filling in for John Danks, who was designated for assignment before Thursday’s game.
