Things went from zero to 100 real quick in Sunday’s game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park.
After Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista went in with a hard slide at second base, Texas’ Rougned Odor started an all-out brawl by catching Bautista square in the face with a mean right hook.
Zero respect for Odor. Never had respect for him, never will.

Recently retired outfielder Torii Hunter, who made an interesting observation about Odor’s throw to first on Bautista’s slide, was among the other MLB players who weighed in.
Odor also dropped his arm on that play to possible hit @JoeyBats19 in the face. 😱

T… You know you're taught to throw low to prevent a guy from coming in high. https://t.co/LcjkRDZKZe

Cleanest punch I've ever seen landed in the big leagues.

The Internet also did as the Internet does in these situations. One Twitter user pointed out that Bautista follows Odor on Twitter (awkward), while another brought attention to the awesome update to Odor’s Wikipedia page.

And, since this is 2016, Bautista quickly got the “Crying Jordan” treatment.
