The Boston Red Sox have a chance to win their series against the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday night at Camden Yards, and they’ll have Joe Kelly on the bump to do it.
The Red Sox starter will be looking to bounce back from a rough outing against the Toronto Blue Jays, during which he gave up five runs on nine hits — including two home runs — and was yanked after 4 2/3 innings. Kelly managed to strike out eight batters in that outing, and he’ll certainly need to do that Thursday against a potent Orioles lineup.
Ryan Hanigan will be behind the plate with Kelly on the mound and bat ninth. Left fielder Blake Swihart and center fielder Chris Young also switched places in the lineup and will bat seventh and eighth, respectively.
Here are the Thursday’s complete lineups.
