So much for building around Jimmy Butler.
According to multiple reports, the Chicago Bulls, after trading former MVP point guard Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks on Wednesday, are open to shopping Butler, too.
Orlando is one of several teams pursuing Jimmy Butler. Also, Houston is trying to get into the 1st round and is offering Patrick Beverley

Butler, of course, has been the apple of NBA trade rumors’ eyes for over a year, and he’s constantly been linked to the Boston Celtics. But reports came out early Wednesday morning that the Celtics had been rebuffed in their attempts to acquire Butler, among several other All-Star-caliber players. Maybe the Bulls have had a change of heart, or maybe the Celtics haven’t made their best offer.
Still, with the Orlando Magic rumored to be the latest team making a strong push for Butler, they seem to have a better potential package of young players to send in return than the Celtics, whose best asset is the No. 3 overall pick and two future first-rounders from the Brooklyn Nets.
Draft day is shaping up to be quite the pot-stirrer.
