Jake Peavy’s stay in Boston wasn’t a long one, but it sure was memorable.
The San Francisco Giants right-hander joined the Red Sox in 2013 thanks to a three-team trade, and once he was in Boston, he helped pitch the Sox to the 2013 World Series. And Red Sox fans certainly remember when he bought a duck boat during the World Series parade.
His time in Boston ended near the 2014 non-waiver trade deadline when he was dealt to the Giants, but it clearly was a special year for Peavy based on the series of tweets he sent out after San Francisco’s two-game series at Fenway Park this week.
Can't describe how special it was to be back in Boston…ps I bought that duck boat 🙂 https://t.co/7gUVMhcWew
