The Boston Red Sox took a disappointing 4-3 loss to the Detroit Tigers on Thursday, but they showed their strength early in Game 2.
With American League ERA leader Michael Fulmer on the mound at Comerica Park on Friday, the Red Sox struck for a pair of two-run bombs in the first inning off the bats of David Ortiz and Jackie Bradley Jr. Ortiz absolutely wrecked the baseball with his home run, too.

It was homer No. 28 on the season for Ortiz — and the 531st in his career — and No. 21 for Bradley.
