Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett should make for a fearsome tight end pairing come September, and every dynamic duo deserves a cool nickname. Bennett came up with the homage to “Street Fighter” while kicking around nicknames on Instagram recently, while Gronk opted for a classic Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder song.
The Patriots tight ends might need to come up with a few more ideas before one sticks. Han Solo and Chewbacca, maybe? Gronkett? Benkowski?
Yeah, we’re going to have to work on this for a bit, too.
