Martellus Bennett’s ‘SNF’ Intro Will Make Sense After You Watch This Interview

The New England Patriots are a notoriously quiet outfit, but that might change a little bit with Martellus Bennett in the fold.

The veteran tight end made his Patriots debut Sunday night in Arizona, and while he didn’t make a huge impact in the passing game, he filled in admirably for the injured Rob Gronkowski as a run blocker.

Bennett’s greatest contribution might have come before kickoff. He went in a different direction for his player intro for “Sunday Night Football” on NBC, introducing himself simply as “Marty, the Imagination Agency.”

The Imagination Agency happens to be Bennett’s multimedia company the tight end started, a company that recently published a children’s book.

In a highly entertaining and very interesting interview with Vice, Bennett explained the company and also talked about his views on life in general. It’s definitely worth a watch, especially considering it’s a viewpoint that’s not exactly expressed very often down at Patriot Place.

Here’s hoping the Patriots continue to let Marty be Marty.
