NFL Teams, Players Continue Protests Against Injustice Before Week 2 Games

The cameras aren’t shuttering as often and the media coverage seemingly is waning, but several NFL teams and individual players continued protests against injustice in America during “The Star-Spangled Banner” before Week 2 games Sunday.

Of course, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who started the movement, was among those taking a knee during the national anthem. He once again was joined by teammate Eric Reid, and a few other teammates raised their fists during the anthem.

A few Miami Dolphins players took a knee again this week, too.
