You want to put the best team on the field every day, and that’s why the Boston Red Sox are focusing on the present.

Red Sox manager John Farrell has been tweaking his lineup of late, but he’s not trying to figure out the perfect postseason formula. For now, the skipper is trying to spread slumping batters in the lineup to get the most out of Boston’s offense.
