FOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady made his return to New England Patriots practice Wednesday after his four-game suspension was lifted Monday at midnight.
Patriots players no longer can claim they haven’t seen the Patriots quarterback. He was out in full view with the rest of his Patriots teammates behind Gillette Stadium.

Defensive end Rob Ninkovich, also fresh off a four-game suspension, returned to practice Wednesday, too.
Running back Brandon Bolden (knee), defensive tackle Vincent Valentine (back) and linebacker Shea McClellin (undisclosed) were absent for Wednesday’s session. It also appears guard Chase Farris has replaced linebacker Quentin Gause on the Patriots’ practice squad.
The Patriots have a roster spot open after releasing tight end Clay Harbor on Monday. They must free up one more roster spot by Saturday at 4 p.m. ET if they wish to activate Brady and Ninkovich.
