Is Sunday the night the Cleveland Indians win their first World Series title since 1948?
While much of the focus this postseason has been on the Chicago Cubs breaking their 108-year championship drought, the Indians quietly have been dominating every team they’ve faced. The Tribe continued to do that Saturday in a 7-2 win that gave them a 3-1 series lead.
The Cubs could stay alive in Game 5 at Wrigley Field, though, as they’ll be facing Trevor Bauer. The Indians right-hander still has a lingering pinkie injury and made it through just 3 2/3 innings in his first World Series start, which was Cleveland’s one loss in this series.
Chicago will trot out lefty Jon Lester, who’s 2-1 with a 1.69 ERA this postseason.
