Dez Bryant, Josh Norman’s Thanksgiving Confrontation Spills Onto Twitter

It appears there’s a new rivalry in the NFL.

During the Cowboys’ 31-26 win over the Redskins on Thursday, things started to get testy between Dallas wide receiver Dez Bryant and Washington cornerback Josh Norman. It was bad enough that officials had to speak to each of the players on the sidelines.

But it only got worse after the game.

On the way back to the locker room, Bryant told Norman, “Better tell Washington to get their money back,” per SB Nation, talking about the five-year, $75 million contract the cornerback signed during the offseason. And when Norman spoke to reporters postgame, he claimed Bryant took things too far by saying, “Where I’m from, we don’t lip, we unload the clip.”

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

But Bryant saw Norman’s comment and denied saying anything like that.

Bryant eventually apologized for comments he made in a postgame interview, but he didn’t touch on anything he might have said privately to Norman.

We don’t know for sure what was or wasn’t said between Bryant and Norman, but we do know this rivalry likely is just getting started. Both players are known for not holding anything back, so expect more words to be exchanged between the NFC East rivals.
