The New England Patriots don’t face the Rams often, whether they’re in Los Angeles or St. Louis, but the two teams do share one memory Pats fans always will cherish.
Pats fans never will forget Feb. 3, 2002, otherwise known as the date of Super Bowl XXXVI. It was the day New England’s dynasty, which has ushered in four Super Bowls, began with a 20-17 Patriots victory over the Rams on a last-second Adam Vinatieri field goal.
