Two of Europe’s “low countries” will meet Wednesday in a high-profile exhibition soccer game.
The Netherlands will host Belgium in a contest that’s bound to draw the attention of soccer fans worldwide. The countries have reversed their historic roles in recent years, with Belgium among the leading nations and Netherlands struggling to reach its past levels.
Belgium’s Vincent Kompany is expected to return to the lineup after recovering from a longstanding groin injury. But the 30-year-old defender won’t captain the Red Devils as he has done for years. That honor goes to Eden Hazard, who has marshalled his country in Kompany’s 12-plus-month absence.
Here’s how to watch Netherlands vs. Belgium online.
