Adam Vinatieri Has 18 More Wins Than Tom Brady After Colts’ Victory Vs. Jets

Tom Brady just became the winningest quarterback in NFL history, but one of his former teammates still has more victories.

Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri earned his 219th win Monday after Indianapolis blew out the New York Jets 41-10 on “Monday Night Football.” The 43-year-old captured the No. 1 spot for most wins in NFL history this season, topping former kicker Gary Anderson (214) and Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice (210) with Brady coming in fourth.

Assuming Brady plays out the remainder of his contract with the New England Patriots, he should have no problem besting Vinatieri by the end of the 2019 season. However, Vinatieri is signed through next season and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down despite his age.

With both Brady and Vinatieri still playing at a high enough level to keep the record, this might end up coming down to who retires first.
