Jay Bilas believes Sean Miller has talked his way out of college basketball.
The ESPN analyst claimed Saturday on “College Gameday” that Arizona Wildcats head coach’s alleged involvement in college basketball’s corruption scandal will end his career. ESPN’s Mark Schlabach reported Saturday that Miller was heard on FBI wiretaps talking about making an illegal $100,000 payment to star freshman Deandre Ayton.
“This is a career-ending thing for Sean Miller,” Bilas said. “I can’t imagine him ever coaching in college again.”
Bilas also demanded Arizona put Miller on administrative leave and bench Ayton until the matter can be investigated fully.
Miller won’t coach Arizona on Saturday night when it faces Oregon, according to The Arizona Daily’s Greg Hansen.

Miller now is the poster-boy in the latest NCAA basketball scandal. Whether he ever has a chance to redeem his stained reputation in the college ranks remains to be seen.
