The University of North Carolina-Greensboro Spartans must overcome a formidable obstacle in their return to the NCAA Tournament.

No. 13 UNCG will take on No. 4 Gonzaga on Thursday afternoon at Taco Bell Arena in Boise, Ida., in a Round of 64 game in the West Region. Gonzaga reached the Final Four last season and is keen on making another deep run in the tournament. UNCG last appeared in the Big Dance in 2001 and would love to stick around for at least a couple of rounds.

The Spartans carry a 27-7 record into the NCAA Tournament, and their Southern Conference regular-season and Tournament titles will boost their confidence.

But Gonzaga is 30-4 and boasts a high-powered offense that might be too much for UNCG to handle.
