Just four teams will compete in the race for LeBron James’ services this summer.
The Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers are the four teams on the Cavs superstar’s free agency list, The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor reported Thursday, citing NBA sources. James is expected to opt out of his contract this summer, and rumors have linked him with moves to a host of teams.
Most recent reports center around him joining either the Rockets, Lakers or 76ers. Many presume he’ll leave the Cavs, but O’Connor’s report seemingly boosts his chances of staying.
While the 26 other NBA teams might try to recruit James, maybe they shouldn’t bother since he apparently has reduced his options already.
