The first round of the NCAA Tournament continues Friday, and the action will tip off with a No. 7 vs. No 10 matchup featuring Texas A&M and Providence.
This marks the first-ever showdown between the Aggies and Friars, and it could be a good one given each team’s balance. Texas A&M is making its second tourney appearance in three years, while Providence is in the Big Dance for the fifth consecutive season.
Texas A&M, which went through some struggles, started the regular season 11-1, and Providence is coming off an impressive run in the Big East Tournament, in which the Friars knocked off Xavier (the No. 1 seed in the West region) before losing to Villanova (the No. 1 seed in the East region) in the finals.
You can watch Texas A&M vs. Providence on CBS, starting at 12:15 p.m. ET. Or, here’s how to watch the game online.
