CM Punk seemed to confirm his UFC return Monday on Twitter.
Someone asked the former WWE superstar, who lost his MMA debut to Mickey Gall at UFC 203 in September 2016, when we’ll see him cry inside the octagon again. His response suggests he’ll be added to the fight card for UFC 225 on June 9 at the United Center in his hometown of Chicago.

Nothing is official, but TMZ Sports confirmed Monday that Punk (real name Phil Brooks) will fight at UFC 225. The 39-year-old also teased a potential fight at UFC 225 last month by quote-tweeting a promotional flier for the event — a tweet he since has pinned to his Twitter timeline.

It’s unclear who Punk’s next opponent will be, but MMAFighting.com reported last month that UFC was discussing a potential fight between Punk and Mike Jackson, who also faced Gall and owns an 0-1 professional MMA record.
