UMBC’s Grade-A Twitter Trolling Has Shown Zero Signs Of Slowing Down

Whether the University of Maryland Baltimore County is ready for its game against Kansas State on Sunday remains to be seen.

One thing is certain, however: The team’s Twitter account will be ready to rock.

Led by overlord Zach Seidel, UMBC’s Twitter trolled the masses before, during and after the Retrievers’ historic win over Virginia in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. And Seidel has kept right on trolling ahead of UMBC’s second-round matchup with KSU.

Here are some of the highlights from the last 24 hours:

UMBC saved the best for last, though, including a direct tweet at Kansas State.

Relentless.

Whether the program’s Twitter activity has led fans to root against — rather than for — the tournament’s foremost Cinderella admittedly is tough to gauge. But Seidel’s unabashed trolling has been entertaining nonetheless.
