Some production errors are worse than others.
The Denver Post made a big one Friday when it published “The Ultimate Visitors Guide To Coors Field” on the cover of its Life & Culture section. The only problem? The photo used to illustrate the story wasn’t of Coors Field.
Instead, the Post accidentally used an image of the Philadelphia Phillies’ Citizens Bank Park, rather than the venue the Colorado Rockies have called home for 23 years — which the Post presumably should be familiar with, having covered Rockies games all these years.
The Post apologized and attempted to correct its mistake Friday via Twitter.
Due to a production error, an image of Citizens Bank Park ran in place of Coors Field on the cover of today's Life & Culture section. Please enjoy this beautiful image of Coors Field photographed yesterday. The Denver Post sincerely regrets the error. pic.twitter.com/0bwW2snOLb

The Rockies will host the Atlanta Braves on Friday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park — er, Coors Field, in their home opener.
Here’s hoping the Post sends their photographers to the right place.
