With a win Saturday, the Tampa Bay Lightning can take a commanding 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff series with the New Jersey Devils.

The top-seeded Bolts dominated Thursday in Game 1, emerging with a 5-2 victory over the eighth-seeded Devils at Amalie Arena.

The Devils, led by Hart Trophy Trophy candidate Taylor Hall, are more than capable of playing a great game and evening the series 1-1. But they’ll need to be firing on all cylinders, as the Lightning might be the most talented squad in the NHL playoffs.
